Wikidata In Memoriam Screensaver
The Wikidata In Memoriam screensaver shows people recorded as having died in the last few weeks, queried live from Wikidata with SPARQL, key-less. It's free, runs in your browser, and ESC exits.
How the Wikidata In Memoriam screensaver works
The saver reads the source described above and draws it on a canvas — no account, no tracking.
People recorded as having died in the last few weeks, queried live from Wikidata with SPARQL, key-less. The query is bounded at both ends deliberately: Wikidata holds a long tail of placeholder death dates in 2100 and beyond that would otherwise fill the board.
It refreshes on a schedule, so what you see stays current.
Colours and any options can be changed in settings; nothing is stored beyond your own browser.
