Afterglow collects as little as possible. Analytics and advertising load only after you accept cookies; your screensaver settings are stored in your own browser and never sent to us.

The short version
You can use the whole site without accepting any cookies. If you decline, no analytics or advertising scripts load. Your screensaver settings are saved in your browser's local storage on your device, not on our servers.
What we collect
- Local settings: the options you choose for each screensaver are stored in your browser (localStorage) so they're remembered next visit. They never leave your device.
- Analytics (optional): if you accept cookies, a Google Analytics placeholder may record anonymous, aggregate usage such as which pages are visited. It loads only after consent.
- Advertising (optional): if you accept cookies, ad placeholders (Google AdSense) may set cookies to show and measure ads. They load only after consent.
- Forms: if you submit the contact or newsletter form, the details you type are sent to the form provider configured for that form, solely to reply to you or send the newsletter.
Cookies
Essential functionality uses no tracking cookies. Optional analytics and advertising cookies load only with your consent. You can change or withdraw consent any time on our Cookies & GDPR page.
Your rights

Third parties
When enabled with consent, Google Analytics and Google AdSense process data under their own policies. Affiliate links may pass a referral tag to the destination retailer. We don't sell your data.
