Sports Scores Board Screensaver
The Sports Scores Board screensaver shows live sports scores on a mechanical-style split-flap board, read directly from ESPN. It's free, runs in your browser, and ESC exits.
How the Sports Scores Board screensaver works
The saver reads ESPN's public scoreboard directly in your browser for the league you pick — no key needed.
Each row shows one game: teams, score and status, riffling into place as scores update.
It refreshes every 30 seconds, so live games stay current.
Board size (rows and columns) is adjustable, and a click sound can be switched on in settings.
A worked example
A live score updates — the board riffles just that row into its new value while the rest of the board sits still, the same partial-update clatter a real stadium scoreboard makes.
Settings & tips
- League switches between Premier League, NBA, NFL, MLB and NHL.
- Board width/height resize the grid.
- Flap click sound adds the mechanical clatter (off by default).
