This is a free, harmless fake hacker terminal that runs entirely in your web browser. It auto-types a stream of movie-style "infiltration" commands and flashes ACCESS GRANTED, but nothing is real and no actual hacking, scanning, or connection happens. It is just scripted text on a page, so nothing is downloaded or installed. Press ESC at any time to exit instantly.
How the Hacker Terminal screensaver works
The saver fills a black screen with a glowing monospaced console that types out one fake line at a time, then scrolls. Lines are picked from a pool of cinematic favorites — port scans, firewall bypasses, payload injections, AES key decryption, brute-force progress bars, memory dumps, and privilege escalation.
All the IP addresses, hex strings, and percentages are randomly generated on the fly, so the feed never repeats and never touches a real network. A blinking block cursor follows the text as it types.
When ACCESS GRANTED flashes is on, a giant glowing "ACCESS GRANTED" banner periodically flashes across the screen after a random number of lines, then fades away and the typing resumes.
Your Target name is woven into the fake commands (for example the root prompt and the exfiltration lines), the Theme sets the phosphor color, and Typing speed controls how fast characters appear. It is all client-side text with a glow effect — nothing runs in the background.
A worked example
Set the Theme to Green, leave Typing speed at 5, type MAINFRAME as the Target name, and keep ACCESS GRANTED flashes on. You get a classic green-phosphor terminal racing through port scans and key cracks against "MAINFRAME," punctuated by an occasional glowing ACCESS GRANTED banner — the perfect over-the-shoulder movie-hacker gag that ends the instant someone presses ESC.
