How the Hackage Uploads screensaver works

The saver reads the source described above and draws it on a canvas — no account, no tracking.

Haskell packages as they are published to Hackage, gathered key-less by the pipeline. Every upload carries its version, so the board doubles as a view of how the ecosystem versions itself: a stream of 0.1.0.0 first releases beside long-lived libraries deep into point revisions.

It refreshes on a schedule, so what you see stays current.

Colours and any options can be changed in settings; nothing is stored beyond your own browser.
